I personally have had to restart many games in my life. But I don't really mind, as I'm not following the main storyline or arc of it. What about you? Do you mind restarting a game for you personally?
I have done this on more than one occasion with a lot of games that I have played. In most cases, it's usually common with game's that are problematic and keeps shutting down as a result of bugs. It happened a few times with my playing of Cyberpunk 2077.
If you get killed often and quickly in a game, you won't have any choice but to restart it all over again. There's no short cut in beating a game that keeps killing you. I did it a lot of time playing God of War and Bloodborne.
I always remember as a kid, I used to love finishing games and then playing through them again from the beginning. I believe the last game I did this with was Toy Story 3 on the Xbox 360. I loved that game and played through it so many times.
It's a shame they do not make games like that so much anymore.
I have restarted so many video games over and over again whenever it suits me. I don't usually complete my games 100%. So, there's a chance to restart it.
Restarting a particular video game is common thing for me. There are so many games which I've played more than once and it's because I love those games. Red Dead Redemption is a game I've done it with 3x.

For me, once a game is of high quality, I don't have any issues with restarting the game. I will be the happiest to do it and that is for a fact. I have done it with a couple of games and will still do so for more games that I enjoyed playing.
