Hey um I normaly dont show anyone poems or anything I create. I don't know why I'm posting this. Probaly cause I don't want to be afraid to show my work. So here...

A Question For the Sun

I ask you great sun
Why do you stay?
For your light does no good
In a room full of shadows,
Shadows casted by fear,
And insecurity

Your light tries to shine through
But like yesterday's temptation
The shadows dont go away
Forever lingering
So I ask of you great sun
To not waste such beauty
On a room of hopeless shadows

Just leave me here
Within these walls
Alone
With my tears and shakes
My fear
My insecurity
My shadows
My walls.

These walls secretly yern for your warmth.
