There are tons of great games on this site! They might be old, but they're still great!

If the games won't work, you'll need DosBox, a DOS emulator.
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/
And here's a program to make DosBox easier to use:

Some of the best games I found so far:

Civilization II
http://www.abandonia.com/games/99/download/Civilization2.htm

Get it! It's great! You probably won't need DosBox to play it. It should work just fine without it, as far as I know.

You can get the CivII expansions here:

Civilization
http://www.abandonia.com/games/14/download/Civilization1.htm

Master of Orion

http://www.abandonia.com/games/101/downloa...sterofOrion.htm

Sadly, this is now ESA protected. I got it a while ago before they took it down.
HOWEVER... you should still be able to get the game at the following link:
http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?name=Master+of+Orion

You can also find Star Lords, the prototype of Master of Orion here:
http://www.reloaded.org/download/Star-Lords/92/

Colonization
http://www.abandonia.com/games/59/download/Colonization.htm

It looks similar to Civilization. I haven't played it, but it looks good. I'll probably try it sometime soon.

Star Control
http://www.abandonia.com/games/143/StarControl1

Star Control II
http://www.abandonia.com/games/144/download/StarControl2.htm

Star Control II is amazing! You might be better off getting The Ur-Quan Masters, though. It's improved from the original.

All of them?! Are you serious? :eyepop:
I know you don't have CivII on floppy though, cause it doesn't fit. Do you have the disc?

I have a habit of keeping old magazines. Anyway, anyone that hasn't played these games... I strongly recommend that you do. The graphics might not be great compared to the stuff we see now, but graphics aren't everything.... and the games are great! Especially play them if you're a fan of turn-based strategy games. Star Control II (or The Ur-Quan Masters) is the only one with no TBS involved, but it's a great game... so if you're not a fan of TBS games, you can play UQM.
