Alright, since recently I've got some anti-Canadian comments sent towards me by more then one person. Nothing against these people of course, but I'm just curious to see why in fact some people choose to be anti-Canadian.
I'm gonna enlighten you all who are not familiar with Canada just what we're all about.
Basically, we're a country. Not as large in size as the USA, but rather in population much smaller then the USA. Our currency may be only about 3/4 of that of what America's currency is, but then again having our country divided into the mountain region, the plains region, and the maratimes region, our resources are not as good as that of the United States, however oil, wheat, silver, and even some gold is a primary commodity in trading, exchanging, and exporting to other countries.
Meaning, yes, our currency is not as high as America's.
Now, as far as the war situation, a lotta people sometimes bring up the subject on why we "hide" behind the Americans in war and not do a thing to help them?
See, the thing is, the Americans brought a lotta their problems upon themselves. The whole bombing thing, the 9/11 thing, the capture Saddam thing, and us Canadians had NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING to do with it, so we basically think its America's problem, America can handle their own problems kinda deal, and not choose to risk losing lives of our citizens at the risk of helping defend another country, that is already probably the strongest military-wise anyway in the world.
And our climate, etc. Yes the weather here sucks, we live a 4 season year in which basically we get 3 months of summer, 3 months of spring, 3 months of autumn, and 3 months of winter. Unlike most of America where simply you guys don't get any or much snow and the weather is quite great most times.
So, yeah I made my points clear, hopefully answered a few in the process on why some people hate Canada. Like I said, nothing against these people, just interested in hearing why you may not like Canada.
