Bad Referrers

I noticed some members here are tring to get easy points by going joining other forums and P.M. members there to try and make them join here and refer them in registation. But what really ticks me is that they don't evening try to make a post.

Dude, if you want this site to be active...it has to happen. It doesn't matter if they sign on or not. As long as they have a high member count, people would see to it as a great site. I understand your anger, but relax. Let time for the forum to grow even larger.

That does not always work. You sometimes need to directly advertise to them. Some of the things like advertising are caught instantly and you have to do it secretly. I am sorry for your inconvience, but just let it happen.

no, tha main reason they advertise is to bring members to this site. They want the site to increase. Sure, they want referalls as well. They want a position. I doubt that would happen though.

Also, you clearly don't know the rules of advertising. The internet is a fierce place, trying to win people's likeness over. They all want the best site and other people do it to this site also. So, it goes hand in hand.

And I have a philosophy "If something is good, then people will come" an example is the first megaman game Capcom didn't think it would be a success so the sold it in limited quanity and it was still a success. And the Capcom boss gave the Ad guy 6 hours for the U.S. megaman cover and it was ugly but it still was a success.

Sigh, you don't understand. To go to a site, you must have heard it through someone else. Thus, referal. You see, it goes on in every site, no matter what. KHi has such a large member count that it doesn't even matter. Smaller sites like us take advantage of that. It is not hurting any forums due to the large count, but people do do it here. It can't be stopped. People want counts and so they do it.

In essence, there is nothing you can do about it. Let it go and just ignore it.

To be honest if someone PM'd me advertising another board, I'd think the board was pathetic and not go to it. Even though it may not be the staff advertising, it could still hurt the image.

But if they were doing this on the forum that I am a Super Mod, I'd warn the person and if they continue I'd just ban them. We had this problem long ago once, and yes just warning them stopped them.

Most of the forums I'm a part of I Googled Like Gundam Seed NET, The Digiport, Fullmetal-Alchemist, ETC. It may not be abled to be stopped but we can have fun trying. And we can ban/delete the members on the forum there advertising on and give the names of the member(like in my first post) and ban/delete them, so there is something I can do about it.

your wrong I another forum was advertising on KG that is what killed them the members went away to the forum that was advertising on them.

By posting those links you are doing what you complain about.

And those links where to teach you a lesson. Unfortunately it didn't work.
