^ASBT ( APBT crossed with SBT )

my point is do you think that these dogs should be banned altogether because theyre breed WAS bred for bull and dog fighting or do you think they should punish the deed and not the breed when a dog attacks ....

Definitely no. Those dogs can just as easily be trained to be kind as they can be trained to be dangerous. It's the people who train them to be dangerous who are to blame for the terrible stories in the media.

I'm just saying that dogs aren't insects and that they have thought processes that bees don't have.

so you're saying because they're smarter that it can't be built into their DNA to be aggressive?

I'm saying the DNA makes them very obedient rather than very aggressive. If you teach them to be mean, they'll be the meanest dogs ever. If you teach them to be nice, they can be the some of the nicest dogs ever.
...Whereas bees live much more by instinct than any canines.

if what random said is right, these dogs were bred to be aggressive(to fight and maim other dogs). not bred to be obedient. maybe trained to be obedient, otherwise how could they control they're killer dogs, right?

i'm just waiting for you to say the right words so i can set up a debate. (if it's not up already, my memory's shite right now for some reason.)

It seems to be a combination of breeding and training, though training is the most important.
But what I'm saying is just because a dog is a pitbull doesn't mean it's satan incarnate. A pitbull could supposedly be bred to be an aggressive dog, but how the dog is raised is an extremely important factor. The same DNA/thoughts/whatever that could potentially make a pitbull aggressive could make the dog a kind, loyal pet instead. So this just leads me to believe that it's more about the trainer and/or owner than how the dog is bred.
