yeah. Freedom of speech dude. Think about it. Not being able to say stuff like that should be illegal. Happy Hanukkah should be said also.

Since I'm not a mod, I will not put what I think on one side
on the other though, Saying Merry christmas is just for ones on purpose if they celebrate it. It doesn't hurt someone if they don't believe in the religion, just like we all have different gods, we have different holiday beliefs, that we can all express freely

Different Gods? The only religion I can think of with a different god would be buddism, and since you don't see many buddists in America, I don't see how there's a problem with anyone being insulted.
you know what i learned in school... people who dont like to say chirstmas they say X-mas instead...well X in Greek stands for chirst so the really saying chirstmas

The Jewish did not believe that Jesus was Gods son. So they might get offended. You also have athiests. They don't believe that Heaven or hell exsist. So would they say Merry Christmas?
I dont know but I think there is nothing wrong with saying or wishing somebody "Merry Christmas". Even if the people maybe have a different religion you can still wish them that they have some nice days, even though you could say "Happy Holidays" then.
