Clear Truth

Sometimes i sit alone and wonder what life would be like if we had no hearts.
If every single human being on this earth,
Had
No
Heart.

How would life be different then,
The ways that everything would change,
Dramatic increases in crimes,
People killing without thinking,
Wars starting without any solid cause.

Then slowly i look around and wonder,
What if the world we are living in today is that world,
Because the similarities are there,
For anyone,
Anywhere,
To see.

There are wars started which will carry on for many generations,
The cause of which unknown,
Murders and crime rates are soaring,
It seems that more and more people die everyday,
What if we are living in a world surrounded by heartless,
Soulless,
Beings.

Empty shells of what were once human beings,
Now deranged by his own brothers in a fight for power and control,
The world without hearts,
The world without souls,
The world of nothing and no tomorrow.

For after all if there is no today for us,
Then how could we ever have a tomorrow,
How could we ever have any future,
For if we are all just heartless beings,
Are we really even here at all?
