Move by holding the mouse in the direction you want the guy to walk; click to stop when you're at the edge of a cloud. This brings up a power guage. Move the mouse up and down to guage your power for a jump, and click when you think it's strong enough to get you to the cloud below. Careful, though, you might overshoot.
