i was watching two of my friends play...and one of them just teched straight to dark templar and started pumping them(using excess minerals for zealots and photons) and then sent them to the other base. my other friend was building what looked like a massive infantry attack...the templar kinda killed them all...then they killed all the SCV's...then my friend resigned.

10 minute game. lol

Let this be a lesson to all of you who would shun the detector units!

I had a similar experience to this once, but involving a group of ghosts and 4 simultaneous nuclear launches... The emotional scarring only recently subsided. Never since have I be found lacking detectors.

dark templars are a huge pain in the ass man. But right along w/ em are lurks. These guys leave the gohsts and wraiths in some serious dust, until you consider wraiths fly and ofcourse our beloved nukes :nuke:

i remember the good old days when i used to cheat cwal and showmethemoney, built 12 command centers 12 silos 12 ghosts got them to nuke the base at the last terran lvl....i took a screenie of it it was perfect...but its on my old comp

Hell, you should make the :nuke: animation your avatar! I, personally, don't know how to make my own, but I'm sure you can find someone that does.

lurkers are devestating early on, if you have no detectors especially if they burrow right at your mineral field. And i feel for you man that nuke rush must have hurt, but i probally would have done the same to you.
