So as of right now I have every achievement for Dead Space except one. That is the Engineer Tier 3, where you beat the game on the hardest difficulty. At first I thought it was hard mode but that wasnt true. There was another difficulty above that but to play on it you have to do something stupid. I don't know what the game developers were thinking when they decided to do this but it was stupid. The mode is called impossible mode and to unlock it you have to beat the game. Normal right? Right. But in order to ever be able to play on that mode once you beat the game you CAN NOT turn off the system. You have to start a whole new game in impossible mode and save it before you can shut it off. If you shut off the system or eject the game you lose the option to play on impossible mode and must go through and play through the game again to unlock it. WTF? Bad game design choice there guys. Anyway. I'm currently working on that last achievement where I play the game on impossible mode. So far.....I am on chapter 3 and have gone through an extensive amount of ammo and health.
I personally didnt like the ending twist.

Not that great. I did like how the enemies have a weak point other than the face. Refreshing. Fun to play though.

Yes i personally liked the way you could dismember enemies (and pretty much had too), it was an interesting concept. Rather than just "BAM YOU DEAD!" it became "Crap, gotta target the arms and legs" or something like that. It makes you think, which is always a plus in video games these days. I personally think a lot of games have been dumbed down to the point that they are more like movies these days, dead space was a good example of a game done right. I played it when it first came out, all the way through in one day. Didn't play it past that though. Let us know if you reach your goal, we're all pulling for you! xD

I think they have dumbed it down so younger or novice gamers will try out the games too. Seems like more and more people are getting into gaming!

But thats not always a good thing. For instance we now have an over abundance of Call of Duty fanboys or Halo fanboys. With the ability to play over the internet now they are always ruining the fun of the game by being obnoxious. The one thing they shouldnt dumb down is the games. Make the people who play them actually think.

Anyway I've gotten all the achievements for Dead Space, Assassins Creed 1 & 2, and Mass Effect. Im now working on Bioshock which is literally impossible due to a faulty update that 2k released.

That is why we have Medal of Honor and BattleField 3 :p

I watch a lot of noobs and dumb players get owned in it and quit the game and really never play it again.

Those games take skills and you can't just run around shotgunning people. You need real skill to take people down.

They are already working on their release of Dead Space Remake next year and from what I've seen so far in the game's trailer, I think that it is something that is going to be better. Is anyone going to be getting the remake?

I played the most recent release of dead space a few weeks ago and though I haven't played any of its release prior to this time but I actually had a wonderful time exploring the open world of the game.
