XBOX 360 downloading to the HD

How many people here download the game to the hard drive? I heard you can play the game without the disc is this true?

Also, if you can, then technically couldn't you borrow a game, download it to the HD and re-play it whenever? :?:?

i have heard of this.. but am not sure if you can.. might eb something worth trying.
i personally think you cannot do that. but you can download updates for games online.. i know that doesn't make much sence but i think its only updates for games.

I'll see if I can find more info. I've seen lots of people saving the game to the HD, saying it's a normal feature? That way it loads faster, and your 360 doesn't need to use the dvd drive.. AND also will heat up less....
