Well everyone.. I got the new MacBook Pro Laptop today.. I have to say, macs aren't too bad actually. So far I love it, but it will take some time to get used to it... since I've been a PC user since forever.
You can still put Windows on it too. You can dual boot or create a virtual machine. That way you can still use your favorite Windows programs when you feel like it.
true.. but I have to say the mac has impressed me so far. I don't really need windows on it, since I can get the mac version of Adobe products, MS Office etc.. etc...
I just find the mac's overall preformance a bit better.
I would say on your next computer purchase.. go for a Mac Pro or MacBook Pro.. I'm telling you, they rock!! I still like PC's.. but for video, audio, gfx.. etc.. it's worth it!!

Getting used to a mac is easy, getting reused to pc is an exercise in frustration (was on the phone a half hour trying to walk my dad through paring his phone with his laptop in xp, a wasted hour)
I don't need a new computer right now. I just got this one last year.

I won't be getting a mac. In fact the MBP is new. I used it maybe 60 times since 2008. LOL
I'm getting a new PC, going to customize my own. I keep the MBP for using FCP and Photoshop

That was targeted at gray, not you, I was just lazy and didn't feel like formatting the quote
I just can't see myself spending that much on a Macbook when I could get a laptop that does almost all the same things (though sadly without the nvidia graphics) for about half the price. Plus, my current laptop is still working good enough at the moment..
I really don't want to buy a cheaper pre-owned Mabook either when I can get a brand new laptop.... probably still for less.
