Enable image verification?

Should I enable image verification? It would require new members to type the letters/numbers in an image in order to join. I think it would stop about 99% of spam bots from registering.

be sure the image works... I disabled it before... because the image wouldn't load.....therefore no one can register....

Yeah I noticed that before. I think it has something to do with a problem with the ImageMagick Image Verification Library. I set it to GD though, so it works just fine now.
