Through the eyes of innocence
Out poured the tears
Of once forgotten memories
Of once misplaced dreams

The pain was unbearable
The agony was high
For those who suffered
What was seen in the eye

Blood and agony
Were apart of their life
It pierced through their heart
Like a sharpened knife

War was infinite
Never to end
Those memories pass
As the days come to an end
