I have been a fan since I was born (dad from Mass.), so I dont like them just because they are winning, I was behind them during the dismal 2000 when we went 5-11 just as well as recent success

I play defensive line for my high school team, so I also love to see huge and nasty hits.

Football is a great sport. Its not nearly as big here in Canada as it is in the USA, but I still love to watch it and play it whenever I can.

But yeah, I been a Pats fan ever since I first started watching football a decade ago, when Bill Parcells was their coach and led them to like a 12-4 record and a Super Bowl birth.

my dad has been a fan forever, so I have to say I am a fan mainly because I was basically raised to be, but they're a great group of guys there. no trash talkers or anyone really controversial
