Is generic engineering a good thing? Is it a bad thing? Will we end up with a real life Khan Noonien Singh (KHAAAAAANNNNN!) sometime in the future or will genetically engineered people have a positive peaceful effect on the world? What else could happen? You may now discuss... and my opinion will go in a later post.

Argh, I really don't want to type right now, so I'll just say I'm one hundred percent in favor of venturing further into genetic engineering. If you're against it, bring up some points and I'll debate on those, but I dun wanna start <_< you start
I mostly support genetic engineering, but I'm just afraid of the possible side affects.
It's possible that a genetically enhanced person could become too... arrogant and powerful. It could start a huge war if the guy had too much power and things got out of hand.
Or just in general, genetically enhanced people using their status against others.
Also, too many people might start having "customized" babies. If someone wants a boy, they could have a boy. If someone wanted a baby with brown hair, then they could have the fetus'/embryo's/baby's genes modified for hair color.
Why do I still support genetic engineering?
A good thing would be all the diseases that could be cured. Maybe our lifespans could go up too. Also, who knows what other discoveries could accidentally happen as a result of genetic engineering research?

You pretty much share my view <_< The problem with genetic engineering is that it's begging for another Hitler incident; some guy trying to create the super race. So yeah..not much else to say here..it'd be good and bad ._. Not much to debate unless someone else holds a different point of view.
