Well seems like Halo 3 is already in beta and it's official that it will be released in the Fall. I can't remember the articale URL, but I believe they say Sept is a good chance and also Xmas time. I'm going to go with a December release of Halo 3... what a perfect time

I wonder if there will be enouhg copies for all or another limited/special edition case/pack?

It's official, HALO 3 will arrive in stores on... SEPTEMBER 25 in the USA and in Europe on 26th September.


Fueling the early buzz around “Halo 3”, Microsoft launches the public multiplayer beta on May 16, which provides audiences worldwide with an exclusive, early look at some of the multiplayer elements of “Halo 3” on Xbox LIVE.

Adding to the Halo 3 frenzy, Microsoft is also releasing a special Halo edition Zune. On shelves next month, the Zune-Halo 3 edition comes pre-loaded with a collection of Halo content, including videos, soundtracks, trailers, ads and artwork.


“‘Halo 3’ is much more than a video game release; it’s the biggest entertainment event of the year,” said Peter Moore, Microsoft. “On Sept. 25, we intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come.”

Yeah Sept I suppose.. mabye that gives people enough time to buy it for xmas Has anyone here preorderd it yet? I remember I bought the halo 2 limited edition or w.e it was.. with the fancy case and extra DVD.

it'll probably be held back like halo 2 was. But Im just saying something. I can't wait till Halo 3!!!!!!!!!!! Im not going to take school off for it though. It's not that important to me. And the fact that I dont have a Xbox 360

I'm mainly interested in the energy bubble, the Spartan Laser, the "human launching pads" and to see where the story is going. I prefer the single player mode over multi in Halo.

They'd only show MC's face if it was relevant to the story. If they do show it, that's what that may be implying.

Doesn't everybody do that on the day of a new Halo release? This is what my day will be like when Halo 3 drops.

-Get the game
-Stop at Bojangles get some breakfast
-Stop at the Store get some Beer
-Flop down on the couch
-Talk smack to fellow Buds
-Pack bong up and set up for further bong hits
-Begin the Halo
-Repeat steps 5-7(and insert a bathroom break sometime)

Well I'm not sure if I'll get it too fast. I might have to wait till xmas time and get it then. Also, thats when I'll get a chance to play it, Winter Holiday away from college I bet though, one of my cousins will get it around the same time too.

oh wait.. I keep think it's for xbox .. guess I "won't" be getting it then... no xbox 360...
