XBOX 360 Halo 4?

So after seeing the ending of Halo 3... Is there going to be a halo 4? I know there is a new halo game coming out, but I heard it has nothing to do with the Halo series or characters?

I saw the scene where MC tells cortana to wake him up when he is needed and their ship is heading to a strange planet? What does this mean? A new game and new level?

The planet that they are floating above is the covenant prison world where they kept their prisoners of war, and speculation is that Bungie created that ending cutscene in Legendary to set up for Halo 4, so don't be surprised if there is one.

So does that mean Halo 4 could be out for another series? Halo 4 ,5 ,6? I'm assuming they left it, so when the new xbox console comes out. Then they have something to market with it?

Also, I thought Halo Wars was good too.

I'm waiting for Halo Reach, but it doesn't look like it has anothing to do with MC or the halo series characters.
