Help!

I need some opinions. I really want to see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I am a big fan of the books, but this movie is rated R for violence and gore. Being a 15 year old girl, I need to help deciding if I should get it. Has anyone here seen it? If so, how much "violence and gore" is there?

my dad downloaded it off Limewire and it does have loads of gore in it

I was gonna buy it with a Best Buy gift card, but it's only worth $20 and the DVD costs $25 not including shipping and handling. It's the same with Circuit City. So I'm stuck.

Ha! I just found out that I still have $10 on my Visa gift card. I can use that to pay for the rest. Thanks for your insight!
