I really like my new cell phone, but what's the point of the video capabilities if it only has 21 MB of space and no micro sd card slot?

Well, if you're in it for the porn, you can just cut the best shots out into small clips and play them in sequence. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you could really do with 21MB unless you had some seriously awesome compression software. You could probably get a music video down to 21mb somehow, but I dunno what you'd do besides that. Maybe you should sell that one and get a new one? Stiil, that's a lot of trouble to go to for some video capabilities. Atleast it makes calls for yeh. right?

There was a stupid 5MB music video on the phone when I got it. o_O I don't know how the hell it was so small. I deleted it to make room for pictures and songs. Yeah... it also has a media player... WTF is the point? you can barely put anything on it...

Have you called the manufacturer/visited the company's website? They might inform you as to why there is such limited space o_o There has to be something you're missing, right? They wouldn't just give you 21MB. I'd say give them a call and see what's up; maybe that slot is just REALLY fucking well hidden?

....Wtf. o_O Hmm...Is there media on your phone that came pre-installed? Like maybe you have more than 21MB, it's just that some of it is taken up? Anything you could delete? Or is it just..you have 21MB and that's that?

<div class='quotetop'>(Zayne.H;13796)</div><div class='quotemain'>Well you bought one of the phones that are used by Teenagers and their moms so they can just put stupid pictures and store messages on it.

If you wanted a smart phone you would have more room than you have.</div>

I should explain more. When I saw my phone, it looked amazing. The site said it could use bluetooth, take pictures, play videos, play MP3s... but some things weren't mentioned on t-mobile's site. (and it seems there was a lack of accurate info on the web... like here http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/readarticles.php?id=1458 ) So, I looked around the web for more info. I found other sites that said it had a micro sd card slot and about 256 MB space, so I figured this would be the best phone for me. However... when I got the phone.... it only had 21 MB of space and no card slot. And I then found people saying that they stripped down features of the phone for the US t-mobile release! If they were going to remove the card slot, then why didn't they add a decent amount of file space? :(

I do like the phone though. And I have a separate MP3 player now. So while I do like my new phone, I really didn't get what I was expecting.

Off topic: That's the only thing that's stopped me from being able to own a PSP; the fact I can't afford to pay 100 dollars(in that range)for a 1GB Mem card. And I wouldn't have anything else beside 1GB if I paid the price for the PSP, so yeah...as soon as memory cards drop down in prices(I'm sure they will once the next badass form of portable storage comes along) I may be the owner of a PSP.

On topic: Dunno what you should do, ray. If you have a separate mp3 player, don't let it worry you too bad. There is, however, a lesson to be learned. Cell phone companies, in the end, are all evil. Not as evil as tobacco companies, but still pretty evil.

You can get 1GB memory sticks for $30 at some places. 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, right? I just looked it up cause I thought $100 was ridiculous and I was right. :pirate:

I'm going to keep my phone. Eventually, I'll get a PSP or a flash card/hard drive for my DS or something. Until then, I'll just have to live without portable video. I just think it's fucked up that they stripped down the features so much.

Yeah maybe, but not anymore. flash memory has gone down in price during the last year... which is a reason that I can't understand why my phone only has 21 MB of space. :weird:

It's not proven that cell phones cause cancer. Actually, science says that cell phones shouldn't cause cancer. Why though...?
