I sometimes imagine what it would be like to *speak* or rather communicate telapathically as the toss do.

how much information would be put through to the other person? how do u control what thoughts are sent? can u send emotions? how do u pick who gets the thoughts? all sorts of questions. and what would it be like to depend on crystal psi to live? w/out them do the toss die?

i guess the topic im trying to introduce for discussion here is: What would it be like to be a protoss?

good question, but i think it is on a level beyond human understanding. what i think is fascinating is if the toss had the zerg version of psionic energy. They could coordiante attacks without using their current communication gear. But the diffrences were made by the creators for a reason. If zerg had more free thought, one of them might dispute the overmind, if toss had mass unified telepath, we wouldnt have had the splinter side that gives us awesome dark templar.

Telepathy works at different wavelengths.
A powerful telepath (someone who can communicate telepathetically) can control at precisely what wavelengths his telepathy is transmitted. A supreme telepathy can not only control the tranmission, but can also encrypt it, ensuring that even if it were intercepted, it cannot be understood.
A n00b telepath, cant even control the tranmission, hence everyone around them can read their thoughts, because their thoughts are uncontrollably transmitted across multiple wavelengths.

It takes a lot of training and experience to be able to privately communicate in telepathy. You need to pick a radio frequency, transmit using a particular wavelength, and ensure the intended recipient knows how to decrypt your message.

As you can see, i have a good imagination and WAY too much time on my hands :D

I believe so... But I was also slighly given the impression of the the interior of a mohership.

But overall I would have to call it the inside of the Citadel of Adun, because of the curved shape of the structure.

Whenever I think about telepathy and starcraft I think fo the awesome Jim Raynor and Kerrigan (Pre-Infestation) scene where she hears Jim's dirty thoughts about him:dumb:. That's more mind reading then telepathy though.

Um, actually that one was mine. YOU said Nexus. I was the one that said it looked too rounded and was probably the tower on the Citadel of Adun. You wouldn't have recognized it. Protoss is my race.
