XBOX 360 Intercooler

Has anyone gotten an intercooler for their 360? I saw some on for aorund $10?

i was told not to get one, because it will long term damage your system. my friend said if i got that paranoid that my 360 was gonan over heat , then put a fan behind the system or keep near a window.

I actually haven't seen any stats and not even from Microsoft, which show getting a intercooler is good or not.

I bought one a year or so ago, it is noisy and takes up needed space.

I don't care about the noise, as long as it works and HELPS the console.

Well, yes actually. But the noise is downright annoying, but hey, you could probably live with it better than I can.

Well I got the new jasper version, which produce less heat... although last time I played it... it seemed hot. I wonder how hot the prior versions got LOL.

So far I've been okay, but I don't want to get something and then have it die. I'm sure microsoft's warranty would be voided, if you added a cooler?
