Hey everybody. Long time no see. I need to start getting on more often. I'm looking for a good manga series or anime to read and watch. Any ideas.

I've been reading:

Chibi Vampire
Rosario + Vampire
Ouron High School Host Club
Shaman King
Naruto
Negima!

And watching:

Happy Lesson and the stuff I've been reading.

So if you have any ideas then please tell me some. I'm going insane of boredom with nothing to do or read.

I've personally loved reading and watching Bleach. It is quite fun to keep up with. I enjoy the action in the manga, then take the characters from the manga and 'put them to life' in the anime. The only drawback of the Anime is the Filler Arcs, whereas the Manga doesn't have them.

The other Manga/Anime I found myself avidly watching/reading was Deathnote. It was one of those Manga with more text then art and action. It was more in depth and fun to read.

So far I'm not. But I'm buying them in seasons and not the single discs with 4-5 episodes. I'm doing like the full 20 a season. And I can't find the third one. If they've made it yet. Cause I'm at episode 41 out of the 200 some episodes.

I never really watched much of the Anime personally. I think that the Anime really ruins the manga, so when I reccomend something, more often then note, I'll be a manga.

Gonna agree with the whole "manga is usually better than anime" thing. It's only true in most cases because the manga is the source material. Rarely the anime will come out, and there will be no manga. In that case the anime probably isn't as good as the other source material, but might be as good as the manga. Like with To Aru Majutsu no Index, the manga is just as awesome as the show (because the source material for both is a series of light novels).
