Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Anyone else like this game? I enjoyed it. It was most definetely a fun, interesting, and somewhat strategic game. I found it kinda easy though, but still a great game nonetheless.

What were your thoughts on this game?

Probably the RPG-7. That was one powerful gun. I'd probably say Patriot but I never got that one.

you get the patriot after beating it once.

very good game, it's easy if you play on easy mode

can't wait for Subsistence.

Subsistence comes out sometime next month doesn't it? How much will it sell for?

I've heard it will be selling at 29.99

I'd say thats a hell of a deal considering you get three disks and if you pre order you get the metal gear saga dvd for free.

Sweet. 3 discs plus a dvd. That's definitely a bargain. I just need to make sure I have enough spare cash once it's out.

Will Subsistence be able to detect previous save data from the original MGS3?

Nope you'd have to start over I believe.

Oh ok. Because when I read an article about DMC3: SE it would detect old save data and thus you'd pretty much have all the extras unlocked. But the catch is, even if you have save data but never completed the game, all the stuff would be unlocked anyway. So in this case, I guess it's a good thing. I've been meaning to make another run through the game.

Man, I love this game so much. It's probably my favorite game ever. It's so fun to play, and the story is so good for an action game, or any game in general. Subsistence sounds awesome and do you really get both MG 1 and 2 along with it?

Some stores are saying it's released on the 14th of this month, while other sources say the 16th. Which one is it because I want to get a copy asap considering that it might just be in limited quantities like DMC3: SE.

if you want the limited edition though you would have to pre order it long ago...so i'm waiting until it's on ebay or amazon...it is onplay asia though.

Good news. Fry's will be selling Subsistence for only $23 on the 16th of this month (this coming Thursday). Sale will only last until the end of Sunday. With price matching I can probably get it for $21 more or less.
