Smiling starboard silent sounds
Leaking slowly from their lips
In simple aw of sight
This orange glow streaking across the sky
Leaving us silent for ever more

The distraught anguish seeping through
The darkest cracks of pain
Small cuts bleed large and wide
While broken bones leave no scars
And in this moment the pain all but disappears

With Beauty flooding the sky
Darkness has nowhere to run
This orange glowing passionate scene
Filling hearts with it's glorious rays of love
Silence amongst the wind and rain

Drops of tiny dampness pattering
Against the soft skin of the beauty near
While orange rays glow in the distance
Leaning in for effect, making contact for feel
This moment of silence and beauty
Frozen in time for eternity

Smiling sincerity of happiness
Fighting back against the sight above
Orange rays turn to black at moments end
Seconds turn to minutes, minutes turn to days.
And I feel as if this kiss will never cease

Contact breaks and lips part
Direction changes while we fall
Diving towards the ground below
Breaking into a passionate fury
This moment frozen in time now past

Lying silent, staring out to sea
The glorious rays of orange gone,
Now left alone with this beauty near,
Caressing the soft skin,
Leaning in once more for one more effect

Slowly lost in darkness clear,
Eyes shut tight with heavy thoughts,
Slipping slowly into silent dreams
Drifting away in your arms,
Knowing that in your grasp I am safe for what seems like forever

No comment will be intelligent enough after this poem. Because I think it's probably the best piece of work you've ever posted. Not only that, I think it's the best poem I read here and certainly one of the best I've read in my life.

It's not only amazing in style but also so rich in feelings and emotions and... ummm... so total and completely amazing.

And it's long and deep and perfect in all senses. I honestly can't pick my fav lines. I love it in it's whole.

I'm so glad you didn't stop writting and please never do, we'd miss really good writting. And that's a crime. I'd love to see more of these. I have a feeling that they'll be even better... if that's possible, but with you we never know. It's like each time you write something it's better than the last one.
