How about I/someone else (I'll be happy to do it) makes a thread were people vote for their fave video game characters and at the end of the week we see which character wins and make a smiley version of them? It seems like something fun and hopefully it will bring people back over and over so they can vote. Don't get your hopes up about the last sentance, though.

Actually.. I was thinking of something sort of "similar". There was a hack made by Inferno Tech, called "Battle Polls"

It's a system that allows you to pick 4 characters each week.. or month and people can vote for their favourite.. and then the winner goes on to battle another 4 characters...

it's kinda like gamefaqs runs it. Now, I found the lite version of the hack and tried getting the full version. But IT is down and I've asked Decado about it, but he doesn't seem to want to help.

So.. we may use the light version after all...

That would be cool, since the whole battle thing before the site got shut down no longer is running. I vote YES!!

I am up for it too, but I need a staff member or someone else to run it.... it means you need to have access to photoshop or a program, so you can create the character pictures.. like Mario vs Yoshi vs Squall vs Goofy.

You need 4 images.. same size of each and then setup the poll. It's easy to setup the poll. But we need someone, who has time for it.

I have alot of time on my hands. If I take up the job I could do it. After all, I come here and just wait for someone to post something interesting, and that wasted time could go to making the pictures and the threads. When you make a thread with a poll, can you put images on the poll options?

yup. What it does is you type the character name and I think it lets you choose the image location.
So you do it for all 4 characters and click submit.

I don't know if you have to have staff access though to do it or not.

I have to install it and see.

Okay sounds good guys. I guess one of you take charge and contact each other. TLS & IBS?

Create a chart... a battle chart. So we can start rounds... TLS should know It's like NHL well... olympics where you have group a, group b, group c etc...

So we can have 4 characters in group a, 4 in group b and each week we can have one group go up.. and the winner moves on to fight the person from another group.

Group a winner battles group b winner etc.. etc..
If your confused, check gamefaqs poll as an example

Its no problem to create a chart, who would you like to see in the battles though? Just game characters? Or also members, famous people etc.?

I think it should be game characters tourny... maybe pick popular characters from each console...

sega,snes,n64,ps,xbox etc.. etc..
