Those are only keygens from sites like serials.ws and seriall.com . Legitimate keygens are still created and distributed amongst the p2p community. Just don't download random shit from warehouse sites and you won't end up with anything like that.

Ehh, torrents are a two-way street. You're just as likely to find bad stuff as you are likely to find good, legit stuff in a torrent. It's all about knowing the key signs to look for to tell you if a file is legitimate or not; reading the user comments on the torrent you're downloading can help.

<span style="color:DarkOrchid">Stick to a private distributer of the shit you need and you won't have any problems, unless you're the most immediate person to download from something infected that will be taken down within like a one minute notice. It's like neighborhoods IRL, you stick around the good, well-kept places and you're less likely to have shit happen to you. But if you mess with anything on the wrong side of the tracks, the risky...dangerous neighborhoods, things will happen to you.

The folks who make this malware and viruses are becoming smarter in their tactics though. It's only a matter of time before they not only attach their crap to websites, but just go straight for your PC. Not that they already haven't in some cases, but backdoor hijacking is becoming more and more common.</span>
