I used the tutorial to do this, but I don't think it came out very well. If you can tell me what to do to fix it, it would be appreciated.

Nice tutorial. It has worked out for me so far. Of course Im still on part two because I have Photoshop Elements. It sucks

Looks fine except you should've angled the signature background more flat than upright. =P
