PS3 Region-Free!

According to a poll at gamefaqs, you can import Japanese games to US without having to mod your US PS3 due to Region-Free Technology! So I don't have to mod my PS3 like my poor PS2

Thats awesome. I was gonna mod my PS2 but I never did. It would be so nice, just to import games and be able to play them straight forth without having to worry about anything.
