This is very sad but at least he died doing something he loved instead of being sick and depressed

I hate waking up to hear that someone died. Especially someone that's no older than my parents. Just the other night, the mayor of Pittsburgh died. He was older, but it was sad enough... especially cause he didn't even get to be mayor for a whole year. :(
This is so sad... but it's good to hear that he died doing something he loved, just like Steph said. He was so young though... no older than my parents. And he died of something so stupid... who would have thought a stingray would kill him? I know I never suspected that. But somehow, I think we all thought that nothing could kill him. Obviously not true though.
RIP Crocodile Hunter. :(

He wasn't teasing the thing. He was just in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Here's another article...

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...112-601,00.html

It's been said that he actually managed to pull the barb out of his chest before he died! If that's true, then that's just badass... no other way to describe it!

More links about how the news of his death slowed down many news sites by taking up so much bandwidth...

know what's even more badass? the stingray that stabbed him in the heart.

"He wasn't teasing the thing. He was just in the wrong spot at the wrong time."

he spent his career teasing animals, now he is the 14th person ever to be reported being killed by a stingray.

He made educational TV programs and documentaries. He wasn't torturing the animals. He did what he had to do for his job.

Yeah, that was one of my thoughts at first. "I hope someone killed that damn thing!" ...but then I realized that the thing just felt scared and that the stingray's death wouldn't bring Steve Irwin back anyway. Plus Steve probably wouldn't want it dead. So... I hope the stingray is still alive out there somewhere.

Yeah that thing with his baby was a little odd, but the media blew it out of proportion just like they do with everything like that.

That's right. The baby really wasn't in danger. The media just decided to make a big deal over nothing.

well people go to see if their dog will like the new baby but a dog could bite a baby's head off so it's the same

He had the baby in his other arm, away from the crocodile... which is why the baby wasn't really in danger. He wasn't dangling the baby over the crocodile's mouth.

those people are retarded.

and the crocodile doesn't need the baby to be right over his mouth to chomp into both the dad and baby. it was stupid, and irresponsible.
