It was a bit of a letdown. Pretty kickass action sequences, but that was about it. The story was really weird, and it seemed rushed. It seemed like they just killed off three of some of the most important characters just to put an end to the trilogy, although loose talk says that the new director will continue making movies based on individual characters in their pasts.

Man, I wish the director of the previous X-Mens didn't ditch this one for Superman. Well...Atleast Superman should be good.

Basically, the humans win, with the help of the X-Men. Well, the remaining ones anyways. Cyclops dies, Prof. Exavier dies, and in the end, Jean dies. Magneto gathers a bunch of rogue mutants to strike against mankind, magneto gets stuck with the "cure" darts and loses all of his power, and then the movie ends.

Didn't Jean die in the last one?

Or does she become Phoneix?
