Fan’s of the 1993 release of the Secret of Mana should be jumping up and down.. as long as you own a Wii. The game has been released as on the Wii in the Virtual Console secion and will be sold for 800 wii points, which is the standard price for many SNES games. If you don’t remember the storyline for the game, here’s a little refresher.
The tree of Mana keeps the balance of good and evil throughout the world, but a magic sword has tricked a young warrior into upsetting the balance and as a result, evil begins spreading across the land. The warrior must undertake a perilous journey in order to find the seeds of the Mana tree which have been hidden from humans for centuries. Only once the seeds are found and planted, can perfect harmony be restored. During the adventure, the warrior’s sword releases evil as well as fighting it. Treasure chests turn out to be booby traps, and you’ll discover than not all your friends are your friends and not all your enemies are truly your enemies. You’ll beembraced in a world that’s been turned upside down which you must restore and make it right. The only way to complete your quest is to solve the Secret of Mana.
