Sega Dreamcast

How many of you got a Sega Dreamcast when it was out? I didn't get one until they went on clearance nationwide. By that time, most games went out of production but I managed to get quite a few from reliable sources.

I love the DC I got one in December '00 right before they shut down. Sega's effort was a longfought and admirable one, but they failed to come out on top.

There were quite a few good games on this console but unfortunately it died out too soon for lots of people to realize it. Soul Calibur for instance. And any other Sonic games that were on it.

it defently died to soon, i was interested in this consol for 2 games sonic and code veronica but veronica came to ps2 and sonic well many of those so never end up grabbing one.

Of the three Sonic games on the DC, two of them are on the GC (Adventure, Adventure 2) No Shuffle though. ADX and A2B are prolly the best 3D Sonic games out there. It ownz Heroes and Shadow, but Sonic06 and Riders might surpass it. Shenmue was an okay game, Jet Set Radio was a phenomenal game. If I'm not mistaken, it debutted cel-shaded graphics

Yeah, I think Jet Set Radio was one of the first games to ever use cel shaded graphics.
