The Dark Crystal: an artifact of immesurable power. When its full power is tapped into it, it could have the ability to enslave the universe... even destroy it. A crystal this powerful and dangerous must have a guardian who would never dream of using it for evil.
Kali is a princess of a long dead race called the Serenians, who have been considered 'mortal angels' over the ages. She was born with the Dark Crystal fused to her soul, claiming her as its guardian.
She spent her entire life protecting it and trying to survive, being constantly chased by the enemies of her race, the Chaoticans, who destroyed her home and her people.
But now, something powerful and evil is coming. Something that she, alone, cannot defeat, since she barely knows how to use the Crystal. How is she supposed to the Crystal, the Universe, and herself?
She needs friends. Friends who would help her when she needed it. But where would she find any?

Pure Good- Helping people is your main goal,without question, even if it means you yourself gets hurt. You follow the rules, unless an innocent person's life is on the line. You trust almost everyone that seems nice to you, which gets you hurt, yet you still trust. And you do it all without wanting anything in return.
Good- Every time you see a hurt person or animal, you help them. Everyone looks at you and thinks you're a saint since they always see you doing good things for people. When people ask you a favor, you do it without question. And when you do something that puts your life on the line, you try to think of the best way to go through it, without getting yourself hurt as well.
Neutral Good- Although you are officially Neutral, you lean on the good side. You know that if the evil side won, life would be made miserable for everyone, but you won't just jump into a fight with someone evil. You'd rather go about your own business without any worries, but when needed, you will fight for the side of good.
Neutral- You don't really care about the fight between good and evil. You just stand back and watch as the two sides fight, wearing themselves out. You're on your own side, and are proud of it. You're only worried about your own things, and will fight anyone who dares threaten your lifestyle, be they good or evil.
Neutral Evil- You are neutral, but when you see something you want, you go for it. No matter how much it hurts some one. You live only for your gain, but you don't take any sides. You're more aligned with evil, but really don't care for fighting good unless you get something out of it. You only do things for yourself, which causes people to look at you as though you were evil.
Evil- Evil. Your favorite side. You think all good people are weak, and you live to make them miserable. You always find ways to make yourself stronger, and to make others suffer. You find allies of your own side to partner with, and work together to become stronger, and cause good people pain.
Pure Evil- You are the darkest of the dark, and evilest of the evil. You work souly for yourself and your own gain, and are willing to betray those on your own side to get ahead. You torture innocent people, and destroy peoples homes for the sheer excitement of their suffering. You feed off of their pain, and want more.

Abilities: Healing, flying, telekinesis, teleportation, the ability to see a person's true intent/alignment (which is sometimes wrong, since she sometimes sees the potential to be good in an evil person)
Powers: Dark energy blasts, purification of anything (people are a different story)
Weapon: A seven foot, eleven inch opal sword (which she calls 7'11")
Personality: Kali is a Guardian who refused to protect the Universe the way she was told to. She is rebelious when it comes to being told how to do her job. Other than that, there isn't a mean bone in her body (unless you count when someone hurts one of her friends, then she gets really ticked off). She's quite easy going, and tries to become friends with everyone, though that tends to get her backstabbed alot. Even so, she still trusts people.
History: Kali is a Serenian, a race of healers that resided in a place called the Opal Serene Dimension. The Serenians are easily described as mortal Angels, though they live to be 300,000 in human years (which is only 30 of Serenian years). When Kali was born, she was born with black hair and dark violet eyes (unlike other Serenians, who have ice colored eyes and white/silver hair). Kali's mother, Celeste, was an angel, as well as the ruler of the Dimension, and Kali's father, Zeig, was a Serenian. When Kali was four, Zeig found out that Kali had something called the Dark Crystal, an artifact capable of destroying or enslaving the Univcerse (though it all depends on the development of its guardian. Kali, currently, can only use it on the scale of being able to destroy a normal-sized asteroid). The creators of the opposite dimension, The Onyx Chaos Dimension, found out about Kali as well, making a deal with Zeig. If he were to hand Kali over to them, he would be granted ultimate power. Zeig agreed, and was turned into a demon so that he could kill his wife. Zeig did so, kidnapping Kali and taking her to the Onyx Dimension, where she shortly escaped and returned to the Opal Dimension, which was under the control of her mother's sister. She spent another six years in the dimension, constantly being teased and picked on because of her dark hair and eyes, which were associated with evil. When she was ten, she ran away from the dimension, which was soon destroyed by the Onyx (the name given to the inhabitants of the Onyx Dimension). She spent the next five years alone, protecting the Universe from threats that could endanger it. But when she turned 15, she hated the loneliness. She wanted to have friends and be a normal teenager. So she built an opal shrine in the middle of a forest, who's trees soon turned a beautiful white. She lived there, protecting the Universe when needed, and awaiting anyone who would happen upon the shrine.
