People like this governor...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070112/ap_on_re_us/wolf_hunting

<div class='quotetop'></div><div class='quotemain'>BOISE, Idaho - Idaho's governor said Thursday he will support public hunts to kill all but 100 of the state's gray wolves after the federal government strips them of protection under the Endangered Species Act.

Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter told The Associated Press that he wants hunters to kill about 550 gray wolves. That would leave about 100 wolves, or 10 packs, according to a population estimate by state wildlife officials.</div>

Now... it's one thing to allow hunting wolves... but this is a bit different. What this idiot of a governor is saying will put wolves right back on the endangered list! How will they keep such careful track of how many are killed? This could completely wipe wolves out from the state of Idaho!

It's kinda ironic too... cause of his last name. A wolf would probably attack an otter.

People think they're a higher form of life, and that they're on top. This is far from the truth.

That governer might as well shoot himself, and all the hunters too.

I suppose we should do someting in the memory of the poor wolves that are going to suffer because this example of trash in the form of life. They didn't do anything to deserve to die.

Cool down, everyone. Infamous doesn't lose the right to voice his opinion because it differs; if that's what you meant, you could've clarified it in the post. Perhaps phrase it like " If any of you guys are interested in doing something in memory of the wolves, we'll make a topic about it. " so that if he didn't want to be included, there would be no reason for him to post. There's already a lot of shit-talking torwards other sources in this topic, don't let that turn into a flame war. :|

I don't think there's anything that can be done to honor this. But it doesn't seem to be official yet and hopefully it won't happen after all.

shut up and die.

<_<

>_>

*high-five*

EDIT: you guys have nothing that would "honor" these wolves. unless you got the time, materials, and skill to put a statue or something. the most you could do is make a topic, and guess what? there's already a topic for the wolves.

besides there's no reason to honor them, stupid wolves and their crazy make-out parties. <_<

Yes, you can say that word, as long as you don't start... being descriptive about the act. :weird:

k, yes, let's get back on the subject.
Hopefully this stopped. It's fucking ridiculous. They'll just be an endangered species all over again.

<div class='quotetop'></div><div class='quotemain'>Otter complained that wolves are rapidly killing elk and other animals essential to Idaho's multimillion-dollar hunting industry.</div>

That's why the wolves are being killed, they're killing other animals.

<div class='quotetop'></div><div class='quotemain'>A plan drafted by Idaho's wildlife agency calls for maintaining a minimum of 15 wolf packs ? higher than Otter's proposal of 10 packs.

Jeff Allen, a policy adviser for the state Office of Species Conservation, said 15 wolf packs would allow "a cushion" between the surviving wolf population and the minimum number that federal biologists would allow before the animals are again considered endangered.</div>

It seems that some other people have a concern about the species going extinct. Hopefully, that plan will be accepted, at least.
