UNCOMMONLY TAINTED

There are 4 objects hidden in all parts of the world and all 4 are different in their own ways. Of course this line has been told in many stories and yes it all does end the same. But let’s try it once more with a little twist.

Once, the God of all gods, Marcus, had created 4 items and given each to the different kings of different lands but of course, there are those which greed takes over and their desire for all these items grow. Sad enough, the four kings waged a war; a war where blood was spilt without mercy along with tears that never stopped flowing. The kings fought for many years and those years were the years when the dark clouds blanketed the skies for a long time.

Marcus was not pleased with this. He had granted the items for the mortals as a gift, a gift of innocents and mercy and yet, the mortals sinned as if the items were always there. For this was a grave mistake. Once the items were gifted, the people turned, stopped worshiping Marcus or any other god at that.

It is said when all 4 items are collected in one place, in one man, that it shall grant extraordinary power. But of course, there is a down side to it all. Any person who comes to possession of the item shall be cursed, cursed with a passion to the item. It will drive them insane for the item and drive them to death in the end.

Sound familiar?

Only a few will go to the far ends of the world to collect and use it for good, some for their own purposes. Whether traveling in a group or alone, the item will be there for the taking but of course, these items are guarded. It isn’t that easy to find, nor retrieve.

The items:

1] The helmet of Marcus, his eyes, which see all and great distances. However, this magnificent object is guarded by a great beast of beasts, the giant dragon of Firel, the guardian beast. Whoever ventures into this land shall be killed by its mighty claws or burned by the flames.

2] The armor, breast plate of Marcus, his strength, which one will be protected by and grow stronger to defeat the enemy. Guarded by the water beast, Hydra, which only listens to its master, Marcus. Whoever shall venture into the island will feel the wrath of the water beast and be swallowed into its acid, ship and all.

3] The weapon, sword of Marcus, his power and wisdom. One who shall carry this object will be granted the all known and the blade which could never be dulled nor broken. Well guarded by the Cyclops, Phimus the giant who roams the lands near the place where the blade is kept. Surrounded by the hot pits of the volcanic mountains.

4] The shoes, speed and balance of Marcus. He who bares this item shall be able to create perfect balance, scale walls, and dash in a speed faster then any man alive. But this item is well guarded by the harpies: Vista, Maric, and Alec. He whom shall come close to the item shall have their eyes scratched out and limbs torn from its body, eaten by the harpies, flesh by flesh and the blood drunk like wine.


Rules: *there are 4 more spots left.*
1] No God-modes, if there is, I will give you one warning and after that, you will be killed off.
2] There shall be no power play [pp] unless told so by the other character.
3] There can be romance and it can go a little above pg-13 but nothing after that. I will let out a warning if it gets too much.
4] I am allowing the characters to curse. Let’s face it, if it was real then everyone would but keep it to a minimum.
5] Don’t post to fast. I don’t want anyone to be falling behind on anything because I know people are busy with school/work.
6] Just have fun.

Dark Bind: A wire which is made of Rien's hair, coated with beast oil. It is hidden and around Rein's wrist band and when used, it is controlled by her fingers. The beast oil keeps the wires strong and almost impossible to cut thought. it can through any rough surface like cement or walls, including a normal amount of metal.

no name: a small blade which is holstered on Rein's lower left calf for last resort weapon.

Personality:

Tricky and cunning, Rein uses her speed for her use and her use only. She does not really care for others and when there is, it is rare. Sometimes, she can become a beast in a battle and yet she still can maintain a playful self.

She is distant to some strangers and yet she still has that playful personality which draws people in. she does not like to helps others unless it is to her benefit but of course, there are some people who she helps just from the kindness of her heart.

Name: Azh Ryogo

Appearance:
Facial / Body: His face resembles that of a human, only with clear grey pupils in his eyes. The fare color hair that sags down on his head resembles a sort of mop feel to it. The left and right ears are slightly elongated, giving them a pointy tip extending backwards into the receding hair. Underneath his left eyes is a black tattoo. It first goes from the inner brim of the nose to the out edge of the eye, then drops down into the middle of his cheek. Etched onto his hands is small rune like symbols, glowing and changing colors upon what he touches. Each resembling entwined circles.

Clothing: Wearing a silver tunic made from the finest silk the Naglifarian world could find, the trimmed edges are laced with black cloth. The middle breast area has a small crest of his ancient Naglifarian race, one that looks like an altered gamma sign. The embroidered crest is made with black cloth, the same as the edges. His sheath for his requiem goes horizontal underneath the back flap of his tunic. His torso down to his legs contains black traveling pants made of the same black cloth, giving him excellent movement and agility. Underneath the cloth exterior, he wears dragon skin chain mail for the added protection against weaponry and long range artillery. His lower thigh area contains small thigh guards and his shins have thick enhanced plating. On his feet are winged boots that are enhanced with the same dragon skin armor as his chest.

Name: Requiem
Description of Weapon:
~Properties: Indestructible, light as a feather, and impervious to telekinesis, magnetism and anything of the sort. If anyone apart from Azh was to hold the weapon, tremendous amounts of sheer pain surge almost instantly throughout the body, and excessive physical contact could prove fatal. Because of this property, the blade is incredibly dangerous in combat, because if it strikes the bare flesh of an opponent, the same amounts of sheer pain pass through their body for as long as the blade remains in contact with the flesh.

~Description: The Long sword known as Requiem is said to possess the fury of the gods. The bottom of the hilt is shaped like a thick, blunt arrow-head, and the hilt itself is wrapped in blue fabric. The blade itself is brilliant silver, with a jagged carving extending from the hilt to approximately the middle of the blade, ending in a sharp point etched into the metal.

Name: Fighting Style (Shikinara)
Description of Weapon:
~Properties: Preferring to much rather use his fist than Requiem, Azh can make the once seemingly harmless fist into an intensified weapon. Training under many masters in his life, his techniques can be close to perfection. The etched symbols on his hands that change color make it so that when called upon, his fist can turn into different elements. Because of this ability, his fist can seem to hurt those that are immune to physical attacks, giving him the edge in light handed strikes.

~Description: The preferred style is that of his own creation, the Shikinara. Basing his attacks solely on light speed punches and hits, then returning into his stance for a defense counter. This style proves to be excessive to wear the opponent down before withdrawing his long sword.
