USB 2.0 PC Card question... can I use both?

I don't have USB 2.0, but I want it for my external hard drive.

If I get that, will I be able to plug it in to the top PC card slot of my laptop while my wifi card goes in the bottom slot, or is it too big?
I think it looks like that would work. I just want more opinions.

It isnt to big...I even use it...It is supposed to increase your WI-FI connection...

but USB 2.0 isnt that high of a cost...just buy USB 2.0..

How is it supposed to increase your wifi connection? I don't see anything like that. It's just a PC card adapter so I can have two USB 2.0 slots. I don't want to tear my laptop apart to upgrade to USB 2.0, so I figure this would be easier.
