yeah thats why I disabled mines..... too much crap comes in once someone knows your cell number.

Topics that can fit on two different boards are acceptable at either place.

Anyway, I've got T-mobile too. I must lucky because I rarely get spam. Probably less than 10 spam messages in the past few years since I got it.

I had to shut mines down because I was charged for receving which sucks crap.... damn telus.... im thinking of moving to rogers

I think it's completely wrong for companies to charge for incoming messages. You don't have complete control over how many messages are sent to you unless you deactivate your text messaging completely. All incoming messages should be free and not count toward your message count.
