Today on VGChartz, who claim they get their sources from Retail outlets all around, have stated that the Wii has sold 7.09mil.

If this is true than it shouldnt be long before the Wii catches and/or outsells the 360. I knew the Wii was selling well (luckily I got mine in January) but its one of the fastest selling consoles out there.

2007 has a lot in store for Wii owners. The Year started off a little slow but with the final Version of the Web Browser, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Super Paper Mario, Wii got on its legs early. Then later on with Metroid Prime 3 (whose said to have controls comparable with a PC FPS), Super Mario Galaxy (with Co-op play), Super Smash Bros Brawl (Online anyone?), No More Heroes (said to be more Violent than Manhunt 2, and made by Suda 51), Disaster: Day of Crysis (the game looks great), other key titles like RE: Umbrella Chronicles, RE4 "Wiimake" and FFCC: The Crystal Bearers. The Wii is getting a lot of support from 3rd parties. Although there is still the troublesome party games/minigame compelations, 3rd parties are seeing that Wii does have a care gamer audience, and they are finally catering to our wants in games.

I was thinking of giving DBZ a shot, but I got Sonic instead. My Current Gaming Library for it is slim, but hey! I'm not complaining:

Next on my list to get a Super Paper Mario, might try to get that for a graduation present.
