In my personal opinion, WoW is one of the best MMORPG's out there. Theres never nothing to do, and its a fairly easily understandable game.

You start off by making a character. You can choose alliance, or horde.

For alliance, the races you can choose from are:

Human
Dwarf
Night Elf
Gnome
Draenei

And each race has a certain character class list to choose from. Warrior, Warlock, Mage, Rogue, Shaman, Druid, Hunter, Paladin, and Priest.

For Horde, the races are:

Orc
Troll
Undead
Tauren
Blood Elf

Thousands of items to choose from to outfit your character. In total, at any one time, you can wear:

Helmet
Shoulders
Chest
Hands
Legs
Belt
Wrists
Cloak/Cape
Two Rings
Necklace
Shirt
Guild Tabard
Two Trinkets

And depending on class, two melee weapons and a ranged weapon, or, two melee weapons and a relic, or One two handed weapon and a ranged weapon.

I have left over characters that my brother plays now.

Talgoth - Level 70 Undead Warlock

Talzr - Level 70 Undead Mage

I have been thinking of finally trying out WOW(or any MMORPG for that matter). What would be the easiest character to make for a n00b to this game as myself would be?

I looked over the picks and would likely make a Human/Paladin.

Don't do Alliance. People on that side are stupid, and useless.

Easiest would probably be Mage or Shaman.

Horde isn't evil, for one thing. :/ And skill-wise, Horde has the better players, at least on most realms. I am going to indepth for each class.

Each class has three sets of Talents. You get 1 TP every level starting at 10.

Warrior - Capable of wearing Plate armor. Can hold all types of weapons.

Warrior Talents.

Warlock - Only wear cloth armor. Spells. Summons minions to fight for him/her.

Warlock Talents

Shaman - Can wear leather and mail. Can hold all sorts of weapons. Half melee, half spell. Can dual-wield.

Shaman Talents.

Rogue - Leather armor. Dual-wielder. DPS.

Rogue Talents

Priest - DOT/HOT spells. Buffs.

Priest Talents.

Paladin - Healing spells. Plate armor. Any weapon.

Paladin Talents.

Mage - Spells. Cloth Armor.

Mage Talents.

Hunter - Leather/Mail armor. Pets. Mostly a ranged-fighter.

Hunter Talents.

Druid - Leather armor. Metamorph.

Druid Talents.
