One good thing about xbox live is that you can play with people over the internet. One bad thing about it is that you play people over the internet. Because you can load any game on live and find a lot of f***ers that can't play by the rules. They have to Mod because they suck so badly. They have to mod their characters to win every now and then. Thats why I wouldn't get live. Even if I have the fastest internet.

I haven't played live, though I have a xbox. I just haven't had the time to try it out. No point in me paying for it, if I'm going to hardly use it. Also I need a faster connection that cable to play too.

IF we had more xbox players, we could start a XBL clan here

360 live is way better, X-Box is too out of date now, so just go 360.

And for those of you too cheap to pay for it, or think it's too expensive, look at it this way, it's $77.50 for a whole YEAR. Even middle-class folk such as myself can afford it.

Gamerpoints really took the 360 to the next level though. That's why I play it so much.

Maybe, but with 360 XBL Silver is free, and you can get 1 month free XBL Gold, so it's all good.

Silver gets you a dashboard, friends list and that's about it. You can't actually play online with a Silver membership.

but if you have to pay for the internet that's what? 30-40 a month, and just adding 77 to that is like $8-$10 more per month, to ACTUALLY play online, paying to be online retarted it should be free,

It's well worth it. You have to experience it to see for yourself how great it really is.

Plus, if we're here posting now, it's a sign that we all have the internet. A broadband connection in 9/10 of our cases.

Therefore, 77$ a year is just an add-on.
