I firmly believe that gaming or any other hobby and/interest can heal you from depression. When feeling depressed, I game to come with it. And you personally? What do you think of it in your book?

They are all temporary fix for depression. There's no way playing video games can permanently heal you from depression because you won't be playing games 24/7.

Being that I suffer from depression and also a lot of stress which causes me to get really bad migraines, gaming has definitely been something I turn to, to help me with the stress and the depression. Whilst is doesn't cure depression it does help and it can help you relax as well. No better way than to sit and play some games to take your mind off things, to be honest.

One thing that I have known about how video games work with depression is that it's only a temporary fix for depression. It doesn't fix depression permanently. If you don't have something that gives you purpose in life, it's going to be very difficult for games to fix your feelings of depression.

I have never been depressed in my life. I know that it's a lot to take in and process when it comes to what those who are depressed have to deal with all the time but I'm sure playing games might help in a way.
