Is smoking cool?

I smoke, and have since I was seven. I started because I thought it was cool, but now I regret every cigarette I smoke.
Second hand smoke DOES NOT kill. Sure it stinks, and makes people cough, but it does not kill you. There is no recorded death from second-hand smoke.
You people really need to learn how to type, and how to think.

I concur with you all smoking is a bad habit,it is really addicting I hate

And second and smoke does kill,go to a site about smoking and see
what you find or better yet ask someone who lost a love one to
cigarettes or cigarette smoke
And stop acting all uppity judging the way people type and think
well we all can't be as refined and extraordinarily brilliant as you
can we if everyone was like that the world would be a dull place.

Go read about air pollution, you ass. The air you breathe is more poisonous than a cigarette, and by far a lot worse then 'second-hand' smoke.

My point was that 'second-hand' smoke isn't a killer. Pollution is more harmful than 'second-hand' smoke.

A few weeks ago i started, but with the smoking laws in my area and my family and friends getting mad at me, i stopped.

And yes, smoking is bad. Hell, even the happiest place in Australia, Hervey Bay (my homwtown - diss it at your own risk of life loss) has a few smokers; I so ****ing hate the stench (which BTW is 4 times worse than what the smoker's pumping into their lungs, and that's a fact).

Smoking is not cool at all. Some of the people who smoke think it is making them cool. They'll soon find out how cool they are when they die at the age of 20-30 something years old. Not only does it affect your body but it also effects the ones around you. Not only the strangers but your family and friends. If your friends, or brothers find out you smoke then they might say, "Hey. He's smoking so it must be cool." Soon they will die at 20 years old. Then there is second hand smoke. If you don't know about it then you didn't pay attention to any of the stuff that was told to you. (If it was told to you at all.) Second hand smoke does cause other people to get cancer. Some people dont even like the smell of smoke. It causes them to cough and weeze. Not to mention the people with asthma. But personally the smell of smoke doesn't really effect me a lot. I don't relly care for it. But to sum it up...You smoke you die sooner.

I've been smoking for ten years, and my lungs are still fairly healthy, considering. My mom has been smoking for thirty-two years, and sure, she gets sick easier, but she'll live at least another ten years. My grandmas been smoking for 54 years. She's 75. And she still walks, drives, cooks, and doesn't need any help getting around. Even with arthritis.

some people are addicted enough to actually smoke that much. I think. I've never known any one to smoke 3 packs a day but more or less 2.
I know a guy who smokes almost 4 packs a day. He will die before he is thirty. He also only eats McDonalds and other fast food. He's an idiot.
