<span style="colorarkOrchid">I plan on getting the PS3. But I am going to wait and watch for bugs found in the console before I buy it.
Also, I don't care how much of you hate on the PS3. Whether you like nintendo's underdog console wanting to feel unique in the gamer crowd, or the Xbox 360 for whatever reason, I like the PS3 for it's games.
I don't give two shits about how powerful it is, or how much money it costs, it's size or weight. It's all about the games. Gamers play games, not consoles, and I play games that just happen to be exclusive to Sony's line of consoles.
I like final fantasy, I like metal gear solid, I like devil may cry. But do these preferences mean that I have to hate all the games on another console? No. The only reason I get one console over another, is becuase it has more of the games I like, not becuase the console is better in any fashion.
I like certain Xbox games, and I like certain Gamecube/Nintendo games, I'd get all three consoles if I could afford it, but with the money I have, I'm forced to make a choice. And that choice is dependant upon the games, not the consoles.
Maybe the gaming market should be divided into consolers and gamers.
