Best part of the game? Guess its something to look forward to then.
Anyway, I just made it onto the island, those damn guys with the machine guns kicked my ass. . .and bad too. :/

 

[H-F Blade]

I gotta see this PRL. It sounds like a pretty good weapon.

As for the JJs (the guys with the chain guns), never engage them head on. Every now and then he will stop and grunt before firing again. Take that as an opportunity to pop him in the head with a rifle.

I killed one, but damn he did a number on me, one hit took off 3/4 of my HP about, and I was full health too. I killed him with about 3-4 good magnum shots to the head though.

 

[H-F Blade]

Well, get used to them because you're going to face even more of them later on. It can sometimes be difficult to get a clean shot on him because once he's firing he's just spraying away. You're only option is to find cover.

I can get cover all I want, but it still doesn't guarantee me getting a good shot at them, not to mention they're quite resilient too. :/

 

[Xephon]

The good thing about JJ's is they time they take to "reload" a good headshot with a rifle will ensure they won't fire that gun again since they have a slow recovery from headshots.

I only fought 1 so far, but I started to fight those black things with leeches in their body. I killed 5-6 without a scope once I got the scope I realized how easy they are.

Yeah the Regenerators are a pain in the arse, but once you get the thermal scope their your *****.

Yeah, if they grab you too half or more of your HP is gone too. I learned. :/

Yeah man, but hey. . .at least you can hear the breathing from almost one end of a large room to another meaning you'll be prepared to encounter them.

 

[H-F Blade]

In the castle area, there's this one room where you have 2 cultists and 2 Garradors waiting at the top of the stairs. I was being really cheap and sniped the 2 cultits, walked out the door behind me, then re-entered the room so that the Garradors would go back to their original position. I had to keep reloading from that point because I had so much trouble fighting them both at the same time. One time they both rushed me and I took 3 consecutive hits without being able to move. I went from full health to almost none after that. I'm surprised I survived that because they do tons of damage on pro mode. Right now I'm in the room with the big Salazar statue.

It almost sounds like they are getting off. :|

I hate those damn Iron Maidens though, took me ages to find out there is one on the back. >.<

Iron Maidens? Are those the big guys with metal armor and a morning-star kind of weapon? If so I didn't find those guys to be too tough.

HF which ones are cultists, etc? The guys in the red?

Also, I'm in chapter 5-2 now but I can't get through that locked door where the 2 levels on each side are I couldn't figure it out. :/

Iron Maidens are the Regenerators that shoot out spikes at you as well.

Ah, yes. I've fought a few of those. They're kinda of a pain in the ass, but you get good money for killing them nonetheless.

Both the Iron Maidens and regenerators were easy....I still didn't know they had one on their back so when they continue to come I take out my shotgun lol

By the way, anyone know how to open that locked door once you save Ashley? Its that door with 2 levers, one on each side.

Nevermind, now I'm stuck on Jack lol. Parasite form of course, I keep shooting at him, but never seem to do any damage. :/
