I'm thinking of downloading it again and trying once more, though. To me, just IMHO, Chrono Trigger was, in terms of graphics, a lot more well done than Final Fantasy. Chrono Trigger was like FF6 on steroids. You know how when you play FF6 it almost feels like a PSX RPG, quality-wise? Chrono Trigger made me think it WAS a PSX game. That's a god damned classic game.
