It may end up just being a new Starcraft in better graphics... A lot of units are going to be dropped and replaced but, ultimately, it is just going to be a newer looking Starcraft with a few new things to watch for. If they do give an expansion, it will probably bring back more of the old as well as some new. It could be worse. We could only get as many as the original Starcraft had...

a good game's beauty is its simplicity. adding a lot of units would be more of a headache for me than a good thing.
for example, gears of war only had like 10 weapons altogether, and it was one of the best games ever made.

An essential unit to the game, the Overlord, has yet to make an appearance (like most of the zerg). What do you think the will look like in the new graphics? Will they actually have ventral sacs on them after upgrading? Will they come down to the ground to release their units like the dropships do?

nah theyll drop em from 4000 feet off the ground and some will pop on landing, not that it matters to lose one ling 
Sounds like the Marine drop idea someone had where they drop in containers like in Halo. I don't think zerglings can survive much of anything, let alone a fall like that.
Watch the carapace crack apart and blood and venom ooze out trough the treads of the tank as it just rolls on by...
