Yup. It was a ****ty game though. Not because the Steelers won, but because of how many turnovers there were and at the times they occured, as well as the calls by the refs against Seattle a lot of them were stupid.

That game just proved 1 thing, and that is that neither of those teams are really Super Bowl material, despite them being there. Normally Super Bowl games are hard hitting, high scoring, or 1 big play that changes the game. Not numerous turnovers, penalties, and missed oppertunities.

The Steelers may be the champs, but I still say that teams like the Panthers, Patriots, Jaguars probably as well are better.

The Colts are like the Dolphins were back when they had Dan Marino. A favorite year in, year out. But never won the big game. The Colts will never win the Super Bowl as long as they got Peyton Manning, history will repeat itself. Though I expect the Pats and the I dunno. . .Panthers or Redskins to face off in the Super Bowl next year. I don't expect the Seahawks to be back in the Super Bowl again next year.

Yeah that's true Jon, but it was like one year I think and they got beat pretty bad by the Niners too if I'm not mistaken that year.

But yeah next year the Pats are taking back what's rightfully theirs.

Bengals? Nah. Bengals will go like 9-7 or 10-6 next year and make it as a 6th seed Wild Card, since Pitt will finish 1st with a 13-3 record next year in the North, Pats will also go 13-3, and the Colts will go 12-4. The West will be won by the Chiefs next year too with 11-5 record!

2006 teams I think may play a factor:

I say Pats around 12-4 to 14-2 (a healthy backfield and DB's can fair even better)
MIA the next best in the division around 9-7, they dont have a Playoff QB
Colts somewhere around 11-5 (if they DONT have Edgerrin James)
Bengals 12-4, Steelers MAYBE 13-3 probably could be 11-5 or so
Chargers 11-5 or so, KC 10-6, DEN somewhere around there,

NFC:
NYG maybe 10-6, they need a quarterback
WAS 12-4 (finished 05 strong)
PHI 9-7 (still rebuilding)
DAL: 8-8 (getting old)
ATL: 11-5 (need consistency)
TB: 10-6 (not at the next level yet)
CAR: if they can avoid injuries expect Steve Smith & co. to go around 12-4
CHI: cannot deny the defense, will have better offense next year, NFC best 14-2
(eveyone else in North dog crap)
SEA: (provided they still have Alexander) 14-2, they will keep getting better
ARI: a quick offense with good recievers and ex. Superbowl MVP Warner, with some defense help can be a 9-7 or 10-6 possibility

I pick New England hands down for next year. A healthy secondary with guys like Bruschi and Harrison back 100% will be hard to beat, and you know Belichek's gonna get some great people around him during the offseason. I see a lot of positive changes over at the Pat's camp.

For NFC, I like the Bears. They havent had much for contract disputes that I know of, and if they have the same-yet-more-experienced defense as last year, then they will be a tough team to take. A more experienced Grossman could lead them to top the NFC. (Not Seattle, as Alexander's whereabouts are in question).

For the Superbowl, I pick New England over Chicago because they are a more complete team. Chi-town has an amazing defense, but their offense is still questionable. The best offense is a good defense, but Tom Brady doesnt make many mistakes. Chicago needs to get their front 4 in there and disrupt him if they want to have a fighting chance. However, New England's defense can man handle the Bear's offense, so they'll need good field position if they want to put points up on the board.

I say Pats over Bears, 14-10

I AM DONE!!!! :)

Actually, I agree with Tama's choices. But I do believe that Seattle will fall to at least 12-4, probably 11-5 next year, and that the best team in the NFC next year may very well come down to the Redskins or Panthers.

I think the Pats will win it all though.
