GP: The Staff

Well I don't think we need anymore Mods or S-Mods at the moment.... maybe if we get new members.... but out of the 10-20 members that we have... 3 admins 1 S-Mod 1 Mod and 2 RPG Admins plus several VIPs is probably plenty...

Well it wouldn't be that why if all the staff were here, then the members would stay, then there'd be more work. See the connect the dots here?

Well I agree with you guys.. lack of staff activity = lack of members activity...

I think the staff is soo busy with personal issues, they don't have time to come by as often...

I don't think anything BIG will happen untill April.. I feel April and June/July is when BIG things will happen at GP

I think we need to get ACTIVE staff members (not necessarily the best, but active and not totally n00bish at least) before we make any serious changes to GP, at the moment it's way too stale to motivate me into posting. And I'm happy to stay at RPG Inferno 2.4, thank you very much (IMO 3.0 is rubbish, it doesn't even have more than three of 2.4's features, AND it's still in alpha!), though yes, we really need our Inferno admins on the job to actually do stuff (spending 2 months fighting Practice Bot over and over is seriously grating, and it's not helped when winning gets less EXP each time you level).

Ok.....here's how i see it:

RPG Admins: Daraku just stopped coming, and Cat drops in every once in a while but doesn't really work on the RPG ever. We need RPG Admins who actually come to GP and when they do, they work even just a little bit on the RPG.

Super Mods: TLS always drops in every once in a while too. She's a great Super Mod but i think we might need another more active one

Mods: Tsukasa is on now a lot. He might just be the most active staff member. I doubt we need another Mod.

Admins: Serenity isn't on much. Nitz is on more but not enough. Jing i haven't seen in a while. Again, we all love our admins but maybe one or two more active ones could help.


So basically, we need staff members in every area except Mods.

But do you think members would seriously post more if the staff team was more active?
I somehow doubt that + there is not much to do, at the moment there are no threads to move, no spam to delete etc.

I see the point in having new RPG admins though as probably more members would get interested in it again.
Maybe also a new admin so that Nitz doesnt have to do everything alone.

I agree. A new admin would be good for GP. And RPG Admins too. Mods don't really matter how much we have though. Everyone seems to be ok with it.

If the admins were more active i guess maybe the members would be too.....i'm not sure though.

Then again we dont have many active members who we could promote. I doubt we have more than 3 candidates available.

Well lets see...there's Ghost, RPGirl, Lalaith, Gaaramaster, Reiku the Fallen, and me. Zelli might also be a good RPG Admin since thats all he does at GP...SB and RPG. Genetic_Disaster is new but is on a lot. THey could also be promoted. Also, Tsukasa could get promoted to Admin and then someone else take his place.

When the forum is upgraded and new things are added, I will be emailing people.. and we will see who steps it up at GP.

New staff=good. as they said, no new mods, unless Tsukasa gets premoted, but of the active members, I think any of them would make good staff.

Tsukasa as an Admin? I could see that. He's on alot. He'd probably be a good admin.

I think it would be cool to be admin... but that is up to the other admins....

We should have a vote on who should be an admin and any other positions when Nitz decides to get new staff. Like an election or something. Just start up threads with the polls.

Well see... we can't really do tha because the admin ultimately decide who gets promoted ... I guess you could do a poll to show them who you wanted o get what positions....
